one down, two to go.

i had my first final yesterday. i'm glad that's over. it actually went pretty good, i felt like i knew a lot of the answers before i even looked at the multiple choice options.
well, the first part went well. i'm not sure what came over me, but halfway through, i had to go to the bathroom so bad. as in, i thought my bowels were going to explode. after i handed in my test, i couldn't even remember what the last few questions were about - i couldn't concentrate anymore.
anyways.... it's very exciting to see that my little counter tells me that i only have 10 days left until my holidays begin! wooohooo! i was studying for my next exam this morning and i realized, once again, how much more i love physiology (like on my next exam) compared to theory crap (my exam last night). mmmm-hmmmm! so much more interesting. scoliosis and muscular dystropy and developmental dysplasia of the hip! oh glorious musculoskeletal disorders.
...okay, this started out sincere, but now i can't even tell if i'm being sarcastic.

sunday night we had an interesting experience. R and i babysat 18 kids at a baptist church that we've never been to before. one of my colleagues is the pastor's wife and they needed someone to watch the kids during the christmas program (and we were paid quite generously). so there we were, making crafts and watching christmas movies. there were a few wild ones, but we just let them run around - as long as they weren't hurting anyone, we didn't really care. my throat was killing by the end of the night, when i realized how loud we had to talk, over the noise. oh well, the parents were incredibly grateful and we were a couple bucks richer.
oh and i think the kids had a lot of fun.

...okay, this study break has been long enough. back to rheumatoid arthritis and lupus....
