we were given the most wonderful gift yesterday. we got to see a glimpse of our little one for a few, beautiful minutes. we don't know the gender yet, but today it feels like a boy, so i will call him a "he". he was moving around a bit - just enough - kicking his cute little feet. we saw his face, mouth, heart, brain, spine, ribs, hands, feet, diaphragm. we saw his little bladder, which he emptied sometime during the ultrasound (yay for kidneys that are functioning!). we saw his eyes that were half-open and even 2 white rings that are his lenses. we have it all on cd, including all the technical pictures, so we have all his measurements. little 3 cm femurs. tiny abdomen with a 4 cm diameter. oh so sweet!

baby face

So exciting! I always love seeing ultrasounds! He is adorable! Enjoy the rest of this time - it'll go fast . . . I hope you're doing well.
yipeee! (again). I love the fact you are calling him Kerri, regardless of the gender. That is really special to me.
Well Kerri, I couldn't do any less than name our firstborn after my idol.
