i had never seen them in real life before and i was very impressed. R likes to brag that he saw delirious 10 years ago in a warehouse in vancouver before they were famous. whatever! afterwards we met the band, shook their hands and told them that we loved them. when i told martin smith that it was our anniversary and that we thought this was a great way to spend our day, all he said was "Alright." in his amazing english accent. i don't think he really could have cared less. haha! i found that pretty funny. okay, i was a little giddy inside when we were meeting them, because it was the whole "what do you say to them? do they even care? i'm going to sound retarded but i don't care, i want to talk to them anyways." i don't think i've ever talked to a band after a concert, besides at local shows in high school. oh wait, there was that time i got Valu Pac to sign my t-shirt back in gr. 10. yeah, that was pretty rad.
well, anyways, i need to get packing. R's whisking me away tomorrow after work for a weekend getaway at an undisclosed location. oooooooooo!

We went to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie last night, and one of the trailers was for a new Pixar movie called Ratatouille... and the tall skinny chef wannabe reminded me so much of Ryan! oh and I forgot to add, reading about you meeting them reminded me of when Steve saw them for the first time 7 years ago(he has seen them four times) i couldn't go so he brought a little tape recorder and got Martin Smith to talk into it for me. hmmm. . .i wonder if i still have that somewhere

Happy belated anniversary! What fond memories I have of that day. In fact, I just came from a bridal shower for Scams where Crystal & I took a minute and thought about your wedding. Hope the anniversary was great!

Sounds fun! My sister just lamented to me that her and Ryan sat at the dentist office on their anniversary and were told they both had to get their wisdom teeth out, both had one cavity, and Ryan had a baby tooth that needed to be pulled as it was rotting. So, your anniversary is sounding outstanding to me! So, where did you go?
