just go.

our romantic weekend was absolutely wonderful. it was just what we needed, although i'm not sure that either of us knew that we needed it. but like i said, it was wonderful. we went out to jessica lake lodge, in the whiteshell. man, do i ever LOVE the canadian shield!! with all the rock and all the lakes and the forest in the springtime with its different colours and the foxes and deer and baby geese and pelicans.... there was great weather on saturday. it was cool and rainy all day. like i said, it was great. a great excuse to stay in and hang out, play games, watch movies, try out the hot tub, the sauna, the fireplace. we did go for a teeny hike in the woods and on sunday (when it really was nice out) we hung out at rainbow falls.
you know, you really should do this. get a sitter, and go. go somewhere and just hang out with your spouse. it's wonderful. don't go to DO anything, just go to hang out together. (there's nothing to do at rainbow falls but sit and look at them and hang out there, but it was still amazing). so even if you don't think you need it, just go and do it anyways.

these last four years have been pretty amazing. i love you, hunny.
