weekend at brereton

We spent this past weekend in the Whiteshell with my parents and Chris & Aurelie. It was so much fun! [We rent a cabin every winter for a family outing, but unfortunately, Genifer and Bowen couldn't make it out here this time] Since it never got below -5, we spent most of the time outside. We had some inner tubes and made a tube run from the cabin down to lake and played and played until it was too dark to see anything. I don’t know what it is with me, but going on rides or things like our slide always makes me scream. It wasn’t that scary but I just can’t help myself. Put me on a waterslide, especially one that has a tunnel all the way down, and you’ll wish you brought your ear plugs after awhile.
I was shrieking so much you’d think I was on the Mind Bender at West Ed. And I was just on a crazy carpet. Oh hey, I think I can put a clip here so you can see a bit of this. Click here to see aurelie on a tube. and then me screaming.

The rest of the weekend basically consisted of playing games, eating a lot of food and doing no homework whatsoever. It was wonderful.


Here comes Chris! Originally, we had the slide whip around at a 90 degree angle, where Mom is sitting in the trees there. ya, that got a little scary.
