ROAD TRIP!!

R and i took a rather spontaneous roadtrip this past weekend. we took friday off [which almost didn't happen because of some crazy last minute plant-delivery issues] and headed out to saska-ma-toon. we got to hang out with lisa in hepburn and of course go for supper at the KK, complete with the kk chicken burger and poutine [say "POO-tin"], for old time's sake. we actually hadn't been to bethany in a few years, so we got a little tour. not much had really changed, including the way it smelled, so it was more a tour of reminiscence. i got to see the new guy's lounge... pretty sweet, i have to say. we decided against making out in the stairway to heaven, since lisa was with us and all [if you were a couple at bbi, you must know exactly what i mean], but we did sneak into the kitchen and steal some fudgsicles [once again, for old time's sake]. then we headed back to saskatoon and hung out with crystal and jed, and their amazing house that they bought over a year ago and this was the first time that we'd seen it. we had a blast.... mini-golf, campfire, just hanging out.... despite the fact that my bottom left wisdom tooth [that has been lying dormant for a few years now] decided that this weekend it wanted to give me some pain and an acidy taste in my mouth, we had an awesome time. it was great to get away, so great to catch up with old friends....
