yes, i know all you bethany friends can't believe that i can dress up like this.... well, times change, i guess. i'm more girly than ever, and i love it. maybe that's what comes from being married for 3.5 years. or maybe i'm just getting older.

i forgot to mention that R was not at the wedding. he's a youth leader at church and he had to be at a jr. youth retreat. i just HATE going to weddings without him. i think that this was the 2nd or 3rd wedding i've gone to alone. i had to keep going to my parent's table to ask how i was doing. i always feel all mushy at weddings, and when he's not there for me to hold his hand....


as i speak, it is snowing. and snowing. and snowing. after talking to my sister in victoria, who got a foot of snow, and my nieces in vancouver who got to make a snowman the other day, it felt weird that we should still have grass poking through our fine layer of snow here in manitoba. that is, until today. i walked to school in my shoes, through the snow-dusted grass. however, it doesn't show signs of stopping.... and i brought some corn for popping.... oh wait, no i'm at school and have skills lab in 5 minutes. but, there will be no more grass showing by the time i'm walking home today.... yippee! i love snow. if it's gonna be cold, we better at least have snow to go with it.

okay, before i go, here's a deep, dark secret i hold. i usually do a lot of this blogging at school in the computer lab, because our dial-up is way to slow to post pictures, etc. well, to get in the computer lab, you need to swipe your special student id card, but a lot people just knock on the door, and make the person who is sitting closest to the door, drop everything that they're doing, lose their train of thought, and get up to open the door for them. well, today, that person is me. so i usually sit and listen to christianrock.net with these big headphones on and then i can completely ignore the person at the door. today, i didn't feel like listening to music, but here i sit, with headphones on... ignoring those who are too lazy to dig through their backpacks to find their id card. yes, it's cruel. i know. but i'm busy blogging here, thank you very much.
