let me tell you a story.

let me tell you a story. one night, R and i were walking through the snow making crazy footprint paths in the snow because we were pretending that someone was chasing us [that's a whole different story and much less interesting]. so of course i pull out the "tractor tires", you know like when you thought you were so clever when you were a kid and try to trick people into thinking that a tractor drove through the playground, by walking with your toes pointed outwards... so it looks like tractor tires.... you know? well, anyways, R said, "hey ya, they do look like tractor tire prints!" i asked him in shock and disbelief and asked if he never did this as a kid. he said no. then a thought occured to me. "oh ya, i guess you didn't really have snow, huh?"

"no. we didn't have tractors!"

can you fathom that?

on a totally different note, i witnessed another birth today. it was great! and i'm starting to think that there may be something to this whole epidural idea.
