so.... i have a summer job!! wooo-hoooo! all you students out there who hate summer jobs and hate looking for summer jobs even more, well, you understand, don't you. [that's not even a question, its a statement] i'm gonna work at the summer day camp at my church. i'm so pumped.
i'm gonna be a camp counselor again... how crazy is that? ? Praise God.. what an answer to prayer!!! actually, i hadn't really prayed about it very much at all yet at this point, but maybe all my prayers from last summer sorta carried over for this year.... ?
so at work today i sat in the back room for the last half hour and put 350 stamps on envelopes for a department that doesn't understand that we don't do this, that's what the 'mail room' is for. but i volunteered to do it anyways. it was fun.

the camp is a day camp at the church, but we do spend a day at some waterslides, parks, etc.
i don't remember frigid temps at simonhouse in the summer and as for the barren wasteland, um, like the miles and miles of beautiful endless evergreen forests? that barreness?
Julia you're hilarious, I love how you write, yeah if you ever write a book or some commentary thing I would totally read it! And that's so exciting that you get to be a counselor again, I would absolutely love to join you, we could compare all the funny stories and sayings that kids have...wow thank you Jesus for Julia's job!
