our newest friend

thanks to everyone who gave us vacuum advice! we took the plunge and bought ourselves a new vacuum.

it's green. it's fun. and it's powerful.

we love it. it's a eureka upright lightweight vacuum. and believe it or not, i can lift it up with one hand. unlike our previous ancient one that you needed 2 hands to drag it and then still a foot or 2 to guide it from bashing the walls. and it's so small, the top of the handle is barely up to my short little waist (but it's extendable!)

we vacuumed our whole place that first night. it's funny, i think it sucked up more dust than our old vacuum did in the last 3 years.
we brought the old one to MCC and the guy there was very excited to fix it up. when i called my mom to tell her we getting rid of it (it was theirs afterall, so i thought i should tell them), i found out that when my parents got it ages ago, it was already secondhand! ha!



by the way, we signed our lease today, for another year in our home. we like our place. after hanging out with friends yesterday and hearing other's apartment horror stories, our place isn't so bad.
