Day 1

i survived Day 1 of day camp. it went really well. i was a little afraid that it wasn't going to go so well, once the first 'incident' occured at 9:30 am. a kid with those shoes that have wheels on them tripped over someone and got a rugburn on his knee and elbow. [did i mention that i'm the 'health officer'] so, just a minor incident, but it stills all needs to be fixed and documented. later, a camper hurt his ankle during the field games.

but God gave me energy today. i don't think i've had that much energy to run around and be over-enthusiastic about everything in a long time. and i'm praying that God will continue to supply me with energy for the next 8 weeks.

tomorrow.... off to the swimming pool!
